Katherine Heigl has revealed her childhood in a white bubble, and how this experience impacted how she cared for her adoptive, multiracial children. In an interview, the "Firefly Lane" actress, along with "Grey's Anatomy" actress shared her body didn't matter to her. However, when speaking to her adopted sister in South Korea about how society had treated them, she was aware of how much different the two were. Meg was asked whether the way she was treated differed when they were out together with their parents or in the case of going out on their own. Meg replied: "Oh Sure, I've witnessed the whole thing I've seen it all! Heigl admitted to parents, "That made me realise how foolish I was." According to the actor, she became angry. But, she was determined to channel this energy into helping the girls she adopted. Heigl shares a son of four years with Josh Kelley, her husband for the past 13 years. They adopted their daughter Nancy Leigh, 12, from South Korea in 2009 and Adalaide 8 years old and Black and was adopted in 2012.
