Laura Linney's portrayal as vulnerable but strong characters has made her one of the top American actors. In the summer, while working at the company of her father Laura Linney fell in love by theatre. After that, at Brown University she studied acting and also at Juilliard School, after which the career of her choice took off. In the two years following her graduation, she launched the beginning of her Broadway career. The following year, she began her career she was on television. Since then, she has appeared appearing in a variety of films, TV shows and stage performances. Throughout her professional career, she's received several awards. Some of them comprise 2 Golden Globe Awards and four Primetime Emmy Awards as well as three Academy Award nominations and five Tony Award nominations. In spite of her many nominations, she has a passion for acting and has performed on stage and screen.
