Nadia and Carol

Nadia Comaneci - (born on 12 November 1961 Gheorghe Gheorghiu Dej / Now Onesti, Romania), Romanian gymnast. The first gymnast to achieve a score of 10 in a competition at the Olympics. Bela Karolyi later Romanian Gymnastics Coach, came across Comaneci when she was just seven years old. At first, she competed in the championships for juniors from Romania in the year 1969, she finished 13th. And in 1970, was crowned champion. In her very first international contest in 1972, she won the event with three gold medals. At her first competitive event in senior level, Lyudmila Turkishcheva from Russia took home five gold medals, as well with one silver. She was the first female to ever successfully complete a backwards double salto after dismounting from an unbalanced parallel bar. Carol Wayne.........................Carol Wayne was an American film and TV actor best recognized for portraying Art Fern's Tea-Time Movie Lady on The Tonight Show Starring Johnny Carson. As a teenager she was performing on touring shows like Ice Capades as a skater together with her younger sister Nina Wayne. Carol Marie Wayne was a born on the 6th of September 1942 in Chicago, Illinois. Carol's first job was in entertainment in her teens. She began her career by joining her sister Nina Wayne to perform in Ice Capades, a traveling show of entertainment. The show featured dramatic ice skating shows.
