Emily VanCamp

Emily Irene VanCamp has been a Canadian actor for a long time. She is well-known for the roles she played in television and films. She's popular in both Canadian as well as American television. Emily began acting at 12 when she was visiting her sister Katie in one of Katie's films. When Emily realized her love of acting, she enrolled in taking classes in acting and auditions. The first time she auditioned was with couple of ads, and was soon selected for Are You afraid of the Dark the Canadian horror show for kids. She was only seen in one scene with no dialog. At the age of 15, Emily got her first big break when she became regular on the WB television series Glory Days. Although the show was canceled after only nine episodes, her performance caught the eye of Dawson's Creek writer Greg Berlanti who decided to cast her in his TV show Everwood. Emily is also a professional dancer also a photographer, and was listed as among the top 20 Teen's actresses. Maxim placed her at number 51 in its Hot 100 of 2014.
